How it works

The Experience

01. An online meeting

Before you book your session, I’ll invite you to an online meeting. Here I’ll ask about your ideas, what you and your partner like doing together, and what your general plans are for your trip to Málaga. Based on your answers, I’ll suggest different options, or even create a custom solution, for how, where, and when to do the proposal. That way, the proposal actually feels like yours, not just something standard.

02. The planning

When we’ve decided on where and when to do the proposal, it’s time to start planning. That means exact guidance on where to be and when, ideas for what to tell her so she’s dressed the way you want without giving anything away, and even a recommendation for what to do before and after the proposal.

03. The proposal

I will arrive early at the location to make sure everything is right before you get there. I’ll then capture the moment of your proposal, and afterward, we’ll do a portrait session of the two of you.

04. Delivery

Already the day after the proposal, you’ll get a preview of the photos from your session. No later than a week after your proposal, I’ll send you all the photos, both colour and black and white.

We get around 300 days of sun a year here, so the odds are in your favor. But if the forecast turns on the day, I’ll reach out the day before or on the day itself and offer to move things to another time, free of charge, within what my availability allows.

Honestly, it depends, on the location, on your plans, on the two of you. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, which is exactly why we work through it together during our planning sessions, so whatever we come up with actually fits your situation, not a generic script.

Yes. I’ll always be honest with you about how busy a location actually is. Plenty of spots here see few or no people at all. The one trade-off worth knowing: the emptiest, most private locations usually take a bit more effort to get to.
