There’s a reason why most of my couples choose to get both photos and video to tell their wedding story. Both are doing something the other can’t, without competing with each other.

A photo freezes a single moment in time. It’s something you can frame, something you’ll walk past on the wall and stop for a second, something that pulls you right back into that exact instant. It’s something you can add into a wedding album and sit with your favourite people, looking back on the best photos from your wedding day.

A wedding film works differently. It’s more like starring in your own Hollywood blockbuster movie. You’ll hear the voices instead of remembering them. You’ll feel the emotion of the moment as it actually happened, not as your memory reconstructs it. When you watch your wedding film, it takes you back to exactly how it happened.

Neither one replaces the other, because they’re not doing the same job. That’s genuinely why I believe the best way to hold onto your wedding day is by having both, not because one medium falls short, but because photo and film give you two completely different ways back into the same moment.

All your communication will go through me. By only having to communicate your vision to one team that takes care of both photos and video, you remove the risk of something falling through the cracks. One point of contact means nothing is lost between what you asked for and what actually happens on the day.

My team and I are used to working together, all with the same goal: creating the best possible photos and film from your wedding. That means a photographer can step in to help the videographer, or the other way around, whenever it’s useful, with no competition between us, just one shared result we’re both working toward. Hire two separate teams and you often get two different ways of reaching that same goal, sometimes pulling against each other without meaning to. Too many chefs spoil the soup. One team avoids that entirely.

Your photos and film are captured and edited with the same vision, so together they feel like one story instead of two.

How it works

The Experience

01. The first conversation

We start with a call before anything is booked. I ask about you and your day, and I tell you honestly what I would suggest, including when I think you need less than you were expecting. Then I put together a quote built around what you actually need, so you know exactly what you are getting before you decide anything.

02. Two planning sessions

We meet twice before the wedding, once six months out and once a month before. We build the timeline together, work out which moments matter most to you, and make sure the day has room to breathe rather than running from one thing to the next. This is also where you can use me as your guide and ask me anything about how the day should run. I will tell you the pros and the cons and leave the decision up to you.

03. The wedding day

I guide when it helps and step back when it doesn’t. Most couples are not used to being in front of a camera, and that is completely normal, so I keep it simple and you always know what to do. The rest of the time I stay out of the way, because the best moments are the ones nobody arranged.

04. Your story delivered

Shortly after the wedding you get a preview of the photos, so you have something to look at while the rest is on its way. Everything else follows no later than ten weeks after the day, photos and film both, edited by me. Not a folder of files, but the day itself, in the order it happened, so you can watch it back and feel it again.

Engagement sessions

There’s rarely as much portrait time on a wedding day as people expect, so a little practice goes a long way, and it usually means better, more relaxed photos on the day itself.

But an engagement session is worth more than just rehearsal. It’s a chance to properly explore the place you’ve chosen to get married in, somewhere beautiful, before the wedding takes over your schedule. And the photos themselves are useful long before the big day: save-the-dates, invitations, or decorations at your wedding.

Wedding albums

Ten years from now, this is the thing your kids will pull off the shelf. Not a folder buried on a hard drive, not a gallery link you meant to save somewhere safer, an actual book you can hand someone and watch them go quiet for a minute. It’s the easiest way to actually revisit your wedding day, to sit down every so often and go back through the moments that mattered most.

Every album is a lay-flat design, so a single photo can stretch seamlessly across two pages without a seam cutting through the middle of the moment. Covers are personalised with your names, and the paper is thick enough to last for however many times it gets pulled off that shelf.

Yes, a dedicated team to focus on photography and videography, working together throughout the day, not one person trying to do both jobs at once. I’m personally there to lead the team on every wedding, and depending on your collection, we might be two, three, or even five members of that team.

There’s no fixed rule for when you need to book, but I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every couple gets my full attention. Dates go on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you have a date in mind, the safest move is to reach out early and check availability.

The day after your wedding, I’ll send you a small preview, a selection of photos and, if your collection includes it, the wedding film trailer, to enjoy right away and share while the rest is on its way. The full gallery and highlight film follow no later than 10 weeks after your wedding day.

A second photographer is a great addition, and usually worth the extra cost. It doesn’t just mean an extra angle and stronger storytelling, it also means we can split up and cover more ground. For example, one of us can photograph the groom getting ready while the other covers the bride, so neither of you has to start absurdly early just to fit everything in.

You get every photo delivered in both colour and black and white.

Yes, I’m a fully licensed drone pilot and operator, and drone footage is included in most of my collections. Before the wedding, I handle any permissions needed to fly at your specific venue. Worth knowing: there are things outside my control that can occasionally ground the drone, bad weather, or permission not being granted in unusual circumstances.

I speak English, Spanish, and Danish. But honestly, I believe a smile, the right energy, and good manners go a long way, most of what makes people feel comfortable in front of a camera comes down to body language, not the specific words being said.

You’re not alone, most of my clients tell me the same thing, and making you feel comfortable is actually the biggest part of my job. It starts even before we’re shooting, with the rapport we build during our planning sessions. By the time we get to your wedding, I already understand what actually speaks to the two of you, so I won’t be putting you in some awkward, generic pose that doesn’t feel like you. Instead, I’ll gently guide you, where to stand, roughly what to do, and then let your movements and how you feel about each other be real.
