Hey, I'm Aske Martinus
I was born and raised in Denmark, but since 2019 I’ve called Spain my home. Photography has been part of my life since 2010, and over the years I’ve come to realize that what excites me about photography, is the stories I get to capture and tell. But that is just a small part of who I am.

Photo & Video is more than just a job for me, it have been my greatest passion & hobby since 2010.
Running & Exercising
I’ve run several marathons, and for me, there’s no better therapy than putting on my running shoes, turning on an audiobook, and hitting the road.
My family
My family still lives in Denmark, so I make it a priority to go back at least twice a year, so I can fulfil my role as my niece’s favorite uncle.
My dog
I love all animals, but dogs! They are just the best companions in life! Frede have been with me for 10 years now
My friends
I used to be a bit of an introvert, until I moved to Spain. But now I make it a priority to go out, and spend time with the people I love hanging out with.

The Army
I spent 3 years in the Danish army, and I was deployed to Kosovo as an army medic. It was a formative experience that taught me a lot.
Travel Photographer
My first job as a photographer was for a Danish travel agency. For a full year, I photographed hundreds of hotels all over Turkey and Greece.
Where I Live
I have lived in more than 6 countries, but in no other place have I felt more welcome and at home than in Malaga where I live now.

Why Weddings?
The simple answer is because I love it!
It might sound a bit generic or even like a cliche. Because the truth is that I have never been into weddings for the prestige, the flowers, fancy dresses and all that. For me, it is the emotional aspect of the day that attracts me.
A wedding brings all the people you love to the same place. It creates a joyful and beautiful atmosphere that allows me, as a photographer, to truly capture meaningful moments for you. Everything from the moment you say I do, to the laughter of the dance floor.
But beyond just capturing the moments that unfold in front of me, I love helping couples create them!
Whether that moment you want is a funny group picture of the bridal party or an emotional moment when the father sees the bride for the first time I the dress, I want to help create the space for that to happen.
I want my couples to relive those memories in the years to come.

I speak English, Spanish, and Danish fluently, so communication between vendors, guests, and yourself comes with ease.

I have lived in Malaga for more than 8 years, and have had the pleasure of traveling all over Spain. That gives me a unique perspective on locations and how to work in the southern sun.
