Surprise proposal in Nerja
How we planned it
When Milap reached out to me about planning his surprise proposal, I could tell right away what this meant to him. We wanted it to be both romantic and intimate, without too many bystanders. I helped by giving him suggestions for different locations, and how we could arrange the whole proposal, so we could make sure to capture it in beautiful photographs. We decided to plan out the surprise proposal to be in Nerja.
The day of the proposal
On the day of the proposal, I got there early to ensure it all looked amazing, and to kindly ask anybody there if they would move away for the next 10 minutes.
Luckily everyone is normally super friendly and is happy to give us the area. Milap had shared his location on WhatsApp, so I could follow them, and see when they would be there. As Milap let Anjii on the spot we had agreed upon, I was able to stand in cover and capture the whole proposal. Anjii was not only super excited, but she of course said yes! After a quick introduction, we all took advanced of the beautiful sunset and spent the next hour capturing amazing couple’s portraits at Nerja Beach & the Balcon de Europa.
The proposal
Aske was the best choice for a photographer to capture my proposal in a foriegn city. He alleviated all of my concerns about the moment by planning in advance. He offered many ideas but respected my choices for the event. He even sent us the edited photos within 12 hours. I will recommend him to everyone planning a proposal!
